What you can expect:

The Digital Hub in Madrid is looking for a world-class Internal Communications & Culture Intern reporting directly to the Community and Culture Manager at the Hub.  We drive internal processes at the Hub to contribute to its ongoing growth, the wellbeing and development of our colleagues. As an intern you will have a significant role in executing internal communications aligned with our culture and values as well as participating in engaging projects and activities for our employees.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Monthly newsletter. After the initial content meeting, the Communication Intern will elaborate the communications materials (articles, interviews, emails, infographics or videos) in English, and design (in a digital format) the monthly newsletter (always under supervision).
    • Skills required: capable of professional writing in English, design of newsletter in a reader-friendly manner using online design tools, understanding of technology and awareness of technological advances.
    • Nice to have: Photoshop, professional video edition, design and create inspiring, impactful and effective communication ideas.
  • Internal communication channels. Support the maintenance of our internal communication channels such as MsTeams groups and mailing.
  • Technological events happening at the Hub. Participate and support the organization of high impact events for our colleagues (team buildings, after works, trainings, among others)
    • Skills required: design creativities for the events, help with hybrid connections, take pictures
  • Reinforce messages around our Culture and Values to ensure organizational consistency and alignment.
  • Suggest and implement new ideas and concepts to add value to internal communication.

Our main requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related.
  • You have availability to join the team for a minimum of 6 months for a full-time internship.
  • You are a collaborative team-player, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Perfect communication skills in English, written and spoken, as all our internal communications are fully in English.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

  • You have a killer portfolio you may show during the interview.
  • Previous experience in managing communication channels.
  • Experience organizing corporate events.
  • Spanish is a plus.
