What you can expect
The Workspace Security Team finds, designs, implements and continuously improves security implementations to constantly mitigate cyber security threat scenarios on workplace devices and mobile phones for BASF to a well-balanced level.
Your main responsibilities:
- As a Senior Specialist Digitalization in the Workspace Security team, you will be responsible to ensure BASF’s corporate security and protection requirements are met with the goal to reduce the likelihood of common as well as target threat scenarios
- Core responsibility – Security Solution Architecture: You will advise our global internal business partners on technical security solutions, design and implement them according to BASF needs
- Develop blueprints and solution implementations to deal with unmanaged systems in the BASF corporate network in order protect the managed environment
- Create solution designs to implement analytics use cases to increase the cyber security maturity in the workplace area (compliance state of devices, …)
- Proactively perform continuous security research with Threat Intelligence Offices (TIO) and evaluate security status on IT implementations across BASF’s organization to identify improvement measures
Our main requirements:
- You have a degree in computer science or have completed a higher formal vocational training program in solution architecture, technology, or engineering in the field of IT or computer science.
- Ideally, you have further qualifications such as CISSP, Microsoft M365 Security Certifications (MS-500, AZ-500, AZ-800, AZ-801, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, SC-900, …), ITIL certifications, software development / -scripting skills (e.g. ASP.Net, PowerShell, Python, SQL, Azure Kusto Query Language, PowerBI).
- Microsoft Client / Server architectures in Hybrid environments.
- Microsoft M365 Security related product portfolios including Security related Azure offerings
- (Ethical) hacking techniques, -tactics and vulnerability management
- You are able to familiarize yourself with new tasks swiftly and independently and have a good strategic mindset.
- You can persuade others in English (German is a must)
