What you can expect

Within our team we ensure that changes are rolled out to the SAP core systems in a high quality by providing release, implementation and test management from demand to deploy to our BASF internal stakeholders. Our product team provides and continuously develops the innovative SAP Solution Manager platform and test automation tools.

Your main responsibilities:

• You improve our support concept for Solution Manager by defining expected business outcomes in collaboration with our internal business partners and IT development teams
• You analyze, research and identify solutions of software issues in complex SAP environments, prioritize and manage several open issues at one time and prepare accurate reports
• You support product owner in managing backlog of tickets and interact with providers to get the tickets resolved
• You provide in-depth technical support and consult our internal business partners until the technical or process related issue is solved
• You document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• You maintain, configurate and automate test activities on regular basis to ensure secure and stable systems

Our main requirements:

• Bachelor degree with focus on information technology (IT) or computer science and 3-5years+ of work experience in complex SAP environments as ABAP developer or technical support engineer
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues in SAP systems
• Basic knowledge in SAP FIORI / SAP UI5 developments and the corresponding architecture concepts
• Experience in basic configuration of Solution Manager, managing ChaRM
functionality and the overall Enhancement Framework of Solution Manager
• Experience in CRM Web UI configuration & development
• Ability to develop new procedures and process improvements that will enhance business productivity by combining innovative and logical thinker skills
• Scrum master experience are preferred
• Natural helper mentality, enjoy assisting people with software issues and ability to explain technical details simply
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide step-by-step technical help
• Experience working in a global collaborative environment and promoting an agile teamwork mentality
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English are mandatory

Nice to have:

• Detailed practices for IT service management and/or ITIL V3 certification are preferred
